What is scalp micropigmentation?Scalp Micropigmentation (“SMP”) is also referred to as a “scalp tattoo” or “hair tattoo”. SMP is a noninvasive treatment that uses detailed micro needles to deposit pigment into the scalp. The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles or short hair stubble. If you are starting to thin, recede, or if you are completely bald, we can give you the look of a short buzz cut, or thicker & fuller hair.
-
Can scalp micropigmentation grow my hair back? No, the SMP treatment will not grow your hair back. However, the treatment will give you the look of short hair or a tight buzz cut. To get the best results we recommend keeping your hair at a shorter length to create the most natural outcome.
-
How much does scalp micropigmentation cost?Prices will vary depending on the client and their needs. The typical price for SMP ranges from $1,500 - $3,500. We provide a free consultation where we will evaluate your specific needs and provide a price quote.
-
How long does the scalp micropigmentation process take?SMP treatment typically requires three (3) sessions to complete. Each session lasts 2-4 hours depending on the client’s specific needs. These treatments are normally spaced 7-14 days apart.
-
How long will the results last?SMP usually lasts 4-6 years, at which point the client may experience some slight fading of the color. The client can then return for a touch-up procedure. SMP will not “wash off” but can usually be modified and adjusted as years go on.
-
Will the result look natural?Absolutely! The result will be virtually undetectable, and the result will give you the look of a short buzz cut, or thicker and fuller hair.
